Training Camp 2025: The Art of Giving a Popular Science Talk

The aim and output of the training is to develop scientific communication skills, to train doctoral students to present their work and their specialty to an ordinary audience with a science education in a short, engaging, understandable and attractive way. The format is a 7-minute short presentation by the doctoral student. This is followed by approximately 40 minutes of professional personal training and coaching, in which the entire audience actively participates. The training is preceded by written homework from the speakers, which is reviewed and feedback is provided. The speakers get 2ECTS.
