The introduction of generative AI tools has revolutionised academic work, from desk to lab bench, affecting myriad aspects such as working habits, evaluation procedures, and teaching methods. But how are these new AI tools and capabilities affecting the pre-existing issues concerning academics\u2019 mental health and well-being? What is AI doing to our perfectionism and imposter syndrome? How is it affecting our stress levels and motivation? Are there ways we can harness it to actually improve our wellbeing? In this webinar we try to find some solid ground to be able to ride this new wave of technological development safely and meaningfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop will be conducted by Vicent Botella-Soler.<\/strong>\u200e Vicent has been a PhD student (physics), a\npostdoc (neuroscience), a machine learning\nconsultant for startups, and an R&D\nmanager for tech companies. With\nextensive international experience in\nacademia and industry, he now works as a\nconsultant and author, helping academics\nand industry professionals snap out of\ncognitive traps hindering their\ndevelopment. He specializes in critical\nthinking and decision-making for\nindividuals and teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
