While the primary focus will be on writing classic research articles, the course will also cover other types of scientific writing, such as reviews, conference abstracts, oral and written presentations at conferences, and preparing funding proposals. Participants will learn how to present their research results effectively across different media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have unfinished articles or are just starting to write, this course will be extremely beneficial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The course will be taught <strong>Professor Gabor L\u00f6vei<\/strong> from Aarhus University, Denmark, the author of <i>\"Writing and Publishing Scientific Papers: A Primer for the Non-English Speaker,\"<\/i> which is freely available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.openbookpublishers.com\/books\/10.11647\/obp.0235\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">online<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course details:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dates:<\/strong> September 22-26, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> EM\u00dc Forestry Building, Kreutzwaldi 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Language:<\/strong> English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Format:<\/strong> The course includes independent work assignments with individual feedback for each participant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Requirements to be met for final assessment:<\/strong> Participants must be present at 80% of the lectures (this means that one can miss two half-days), and actively participate in the group discussions and exercises. Additionally, participants must complete four written assignments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Timetable on contact study days:<\/strong> study from 9 to 17.00 (four 90 min sessions); lunch from 12.30 to 13.30 and two breaks (30 min each)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> Free of charge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificate:<\/strong> A certificate of completion will be provided, which can be
