We will examine how ethical concern for animals can be justified, what grounds moral and legal obligations toward non-human animals, and how concepts such as care, self-knowledge, rights, and freedom shape these debates\u2014from ancient philosophy to contemporary political theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doctoral researchers from all fields of research are welcome to attend and participate in discussion.
