The course is given in English. Doctoral researchers and supervisors from the faculties of Humanities and Arts and Social Sciences are welcome to participate.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course overview<\/strong>
The course will explore the application of artificial intelligence in artistic research<\/strong>. The course consists of a lecture and an informal seminar, for which the lecturer will send out assignments a week in advance. The course develops innovative thinking, the application of digital skills, and an understanding of the ethical and social aspects of research and creative activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jan Schacher<\/strong> is a doublebass-player, composer and digital artist. He\nis active in electronic and experimental music, in jazz, contemporary music, performance and installation art as well as writing music for chamber-ensembles, theatre and film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an artist-researcher and educator performing on stage and other environments he works with and through sound and presence. He holds a PhD in Arts from the Royal Conservatoire and University of Antwerp. He is also an Executive Board Member of the Society of Artistic Research.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
