- 9:30 – 9:40 Tere tulemast!

Kas ja kuivõrd on doktorantuur oluline isikliku ja professionaalse kasvu seisukohalt? Kuidas doktorantuuri ajal omandatud oskused ja teadmised aitavad kaasa edaspidises karjääris? Milliseid võimalusi pakub doktorantuur: pädevused, ressursid, juhendajate tugi, uurimisvõimalused, konverentsid, võrgustikud? Milliste väljakutsetega tuleb silmitsi seista: aja juhtimine, stress, motivatsiooniprobleemid ja töö-õpingute tasakaalustamine? Kuidas väljakutsetega toime tulla? Millised on karjäärivõimalused peale doktorikraadi omandamist? Kas Eesti vajab doktorikraadiga tippspetsialiste?

Millised on ootused doktorikraadiga töötajale erinevates sektorites? Paneeldiskussioonis jagatakse ka kogemusi üleminekust akadeemiast ettevõtlusesse: kuidas leida endale sobiv positsioon ja panustada oma valdkonda väljaspool akadeemiat?
