Research ethics training for PhD researchers in Arts and Humanities

Participating in this session is important because questions about ethics are a part of every researcher’s daily life. How to ask your interviewees or experiment participants for their truly informed consent? How to solve disagreements with your supervisor or co-author? How to be a responsible and trustworthy researcher during fieldwork? What is “good science practice”? Have you read all the regulations related to research ethics?

Participating in this session is interesting because you will be able to solve practical tasks that are based on real life events. Participants will learn to notice possible ethical problems with their research and will gain skills to avoid unintentional mistakes in conduct.

The training session will be led by specialists from the Centre for Ethics at the University of Tartu, the working language of the session will be English.
