K\u00fclalisesineja on <strong>emeriitprofessor Howy Jacobs <\/strong>Tampere \u00dclikoolist, kes viib l\u00e4bi EMBO-stiilis meistriklassi koos aruteluga j\u00e4rgmistel teemadel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Teaduslik kirjutamine 101<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teadusajakirjade maastikul orienteerumine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retsensioonide ja kommentaaride olemus ja eesm\u00e4rk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teadusliku kirjutamise eetika ja ausus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Howy Jacobs on briti molekulaarbioloog, kes t\u00f6\u00f6tanud Soomes, on olnud Tampere \u00dclikooli professor alates 1996. aastast. Aastatel 2015\u20132017 oli ta Helsingi Biotehnoloogiainstituudi direktor. Tema teadust\u00f6\u00f6 keskendub mitokondrite geneetikale, rakubioloogiale ja patof\u00fcsioloogiale, kasutades erinevaid mudelorganisme. Aastatel 2009\u20132014 oli ta \u00fche EMBO juhtiva ajakirja EMBO Reports peatoimetaja ning praegu on ta ajakirja Fly peatoimetaja. Tal on pikaajaline kogemus teadusajakirjade t\u00f6\u00f6korraldusest ja publitseerimisprotsessist. Samuti on ta paljude teadustegevuse ja -poliitika teemaliste arvamusartiklite autor. Mentorkohtumistel on v\u00f5imalik saada personaalset tagasisidet oma k\u00e4imasolevatele PhD projektidele v\u00f5i k\u00e4sikirjaideedele.
