Future Frontiers: PhD Conference on Emerging Technologies

The conference is held in English.

The conference is organised by the Estonian Doctoral School for Engineering and Technology, in partnership with the Institute of Technology at the University of Tartu. The conference will bring together doctoral researchers from several institutions, including the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonian University of Life Sciences, Estonian Academy of Arts, and Estonian Aviation Academy.  

The focus of the conference is to apply scientific research toward the development of innovative technologies.  

Participation in this event offers doctoral researchers their first conference experience, an opportunity to present their research to an interdisciplinary audience, and encourages collaboration among universities. 

Register HERE. The registration is open until April 6, 2026.
The committee evaluates the annotations, and up to 100 of the best will have the opportunity to present their research either as an oral or poster presentation.
