Conference "Land use and biodiversity in the turmoil of global changes"

The conference takes place in Tartu

The first part of the conference, starting at 10 AM, will take place in the main building of EMÜ (Estonian University of Life Sciences) in the Assembly Hall l at F.R. Kreutzwaldi 1. Lunch and the second part of the conference will be held in the TÜ Oecologicum hall at J. Liivi 2. There will be a walk through Tähtvere in between. The day will conclude with a relaxing gathering in the recreation area on the sixth floor of J. Liivi 2.

The conference "Land use and biodiversity in the turmoil of global changes" invites PhD students and researchers of Natural Sciences to discuss issues such as biodiversity, climate change, ecological restoration, forestry, economics and the related time scales.

The slogan of the conference is: "Soft force from behind the corner." 

Short presentations (15+5) will be given by researchers from both universities. A more detailed program will be available soon.
