Writing Retreat

At Ruunawere Hotel

The writing retreat offers an opportunity to focus on writing your doctoral thesis or scientific article for a few days, receive and provide feedback, and receive supervision. The retreat supervisors are Eve Kikas and Kristjan Kask from the Tallinn University School of Natural Sciences and Health.

Please fill out the application form here and send a motivation letter along with a work plan for the writing retreat coordinated with your supervisor to eva.valdna@tlu.ee by April 10 at the latest.

The evaluation of the motivation letter and work plan will consider:

• The thoroughness and feasibility of the plan (40%)
• The expected impact on the completion of the doctoral thesis (40%)
• Motivation to participate in this particular writing camp (20%).

Up to 13 doctoral students will be accepted for participation in the camp. 

Accommodation in single rooms and meals will be provided by the Doctoral School. Participants must arrange their own transportation to and from the writing camp.
