The event will be held in English.

George A. Constantinides is Professor of Digital Computation at Imperial College London, where he also leads the Imperial College Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI). ECRI is a new body at Imperial, unifying Imperial’s former graduate school with its former postdoc and fellows development centre, in order to provide joined-up support for early career researchers from students to staff. George will speak on the topic of neuroinclusive doctoral supervision. He will discuss neurodiversity and the social model of disability. George will then talk about some specific neurotypes: autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, providing some insights on supervising neurodivergent students and supervision by neurodivergent supervisors. He will explain the legal and organisational framework within with Imperial College operates and how this impacts on support for neurodiversity. He will then summarise the work Imperial is doing to harness the experience of neurodivergent research students and staff to become as inclusive as we can be of the significant pool of neurodivergent early-career research talent we encounter, and what we have learnt from our community and elsewhere.

Register HERE. Registration deadline is on September 17, 2025.
