Symposium on Advances in Electromagnetic Device Design, Diagnostics and Control for Autonomous Environments

18/02 19/02

📍 Endla talu

The event will be held in English.

This joint TalTech-Aalto symposium brings together researchers, doctoral candidates, and academic staff working in the field of electrical machines, electromechanics, and mechatronic systems. The event aims to foster scientific exchange between the two institutions through invited talks, doctoral student presentations, and open technical discussions.

The symposium focuses on recent advances in electromagnetic device design, diagnostics, control, and their integration into autonomous and mechatronic environments. In addition to technical sessions, the programme encourages networking and collaboration through informal discussions, supporting future joint research and doctoral-level cooperation.

During and after the symposium, participants will be able to:

  • Critically discuss doctoral-level research in electrical machines and electromechanical systems
  • Identify opportunities for research collaboration between TalTech and Aalto University
  • Improve scientific communication and presentation skills through active participation
