The event is primarily aimed at doctoral researchers in medicine, health sciences, and veterinary medicine.

General information

“Navigating the Research Landscape as a Junior Researcher 2027” is a two-day conference focusing on the challenges and opportunities of navigating the world of research.

The conference will cover future career opportunities for doctoral researchers both within and outside academia, publishing scientific articles, science communication, the mental and physical well-being of doctoral researchers, and the use of artificial intelligence in science and medicine.

Organisers and speakers

The conference is organised by doctoral researchers from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu.
