The Summer School is held in English.

The summer school offers excellent opportunities for doctoral students, primarily in economics and business administration, but also in political science, law and public administration, to receive feedback on their research projects, improve their presentation and research skills, and establish academic contacts with local researchers and experts. Articles related to doctoral theses in the field of economics and business administration compete for the Vello Vensel Prize, awarded by the Estonian Economic Association.

The aim of the doctoral summer school is to develop the presentation and research skills of doctoral students and to enhance internal, interdisciplinary and international research cooperation.

The summer school offers various work formats: doctoral working paper sessions, doctoral poster session, guest lectures on specific topics, workshops etc.

• Notification of acceptance of the submitted paper/poster abstract: May 15, 2026
• Deadline for registration for the event: May 20, 2026.
