Grant Writing Workshop

The workshop consists of four sessions held over two consecutive weeks in April 2026. Each session lasts 4 hours:
- 22 April 10.00-14.00, Tartu
- 23 April 10.00-14.00, Tartu
This workshop will be conducted in English.
If you’re a doctoral researcher—whether just starting or already deep into your studies—join your peers and experts for a 4-day training on how to approach the BIG task of writing a research grant or project proposal. The training gives a good theoretical background as well as includes more hands-on parts where you can apply the newly acquired skills in writing short sections of a grant and analysing them in small groups. Last but not least, you’ll have the chanse to network, listen to some Guest Speakers, and practice pitching your own idea on the last day at the Idea Market.
Facilitators are Eveli Kuuse,Project Manager at UT Viljandi Culture Academy/ ERC Grant Consultant at UT Grant Office and Marek Mühlberg, Nordmill Strategies OÜ.
