Kui oled doktorant – kas alles alustav või edasijõudnud –  kutsume Sind liituma kolleegide ja Tartu Ülikooli ekspertidega 4-päevasel koolitusel, et otsida vastust SUURELE küsimusele, kuidas kirjutada teadus-arendusgrandi projektitaotlust.

This seminar is for those who want to take their first steps in international research grant writing, start shaping both their researcher profile and research network from early on, improve their funded grants list, including by targeting smaller opportunities.

The focus is on where to begin, what to write, and how to package ideas into a compelling and competitive application. We’ll look at the process from both the writer’s and evaluator’s perspective, discuss and refine ideas with peers, and hear from successful grantees.

Expect theoretical and practical insights into funding opportunities, connections to EU policies and strategy documents, planning and managing of a project, budgeting, and even exploring private capital and entrepreneurial approaches like industrial doctorates. There will also be an interactive “Idea Market” session where you can develop and test your research proposal with feedback from mentors and peers.

The skills gained will be applicable to various types of grants, from small doctoral ones to larger international collaborative ones. So, come and join us!

Facilitators are Eveli Kuuse, Project Manager at UT Viljandi Culture Academy/ ERC Grant Consultant at UT Grant Office and Marek Mühlberg, Programme Manager and Head of Creative Incubator at UT Viljandi Culture Academy.

The language of the seminar is English.
