Writing Retreat

The writing retreat offers an opportunity to focus on writing your doctoral thesis or scientific article for a few days. In order to apply, please fill out the application form that includes a short motivational letter (goals and a working plan for the retreat), by 24th October at the latest.

To participate in the writing camp, fill out the registration form HERE. Deadline is October 24, 2025.

Preference in participant selection will be given to doctoral students who: 

• who study in the field of natural and agricultural sciences; 
• have not yet participated in the writing retreats of the Estonian Doctoral School in 2025;
• who can participate in the retreat during the whole duration of the event.

Up to 15 doctoral students and supervisors will be accepted for participation in the camp. Accommodation for two nights in single rooms and meals will be provided by the doctoral school. 

NB! Participants must arrange their own transportation to and from the writing camp.
