Writing Retreat on Educational Leadership

The event will be held in English.

Doctoral researchers in social sciences (specifically education sciences) and their supervisors are welcome to attend.

The writing retreat focuses on research topics in educational leadership, including studies of school development processes and leadership approaches. Discussions will address development-oriented research and the involvement of practitioners in the research process.

The writing retreat is organised by the Tallinn University School of Educational Sciences, led by Eve Eisenschmidt (Tallinn University) and Raisa Carpelan (Visiting Research Fellow of Educational Leadership at Tallinn University, Associate Professor at the University of Helsinki).

The registration deadline is 20. mai 2026. The maximum number of participants is 16. Preference will be given to doctoral researchers working on educational leadership topics.
