Target group
The writing retreat is intended for doctoral researchers and early-career researchers in Natural and Agricultural Sciences.
General information
The writing retreat offers doctoral researchers an opportunity to step away from their usual work routine and dedicate several days to focused writing. The retreat is primarily aimed at doctoral researchers in Natural and Agricultural Sciences who wish to make progress with their doctoral thesis or work on a research article.
In addition to independent writing time, practical seminars will be held on structuring scientific texts, communicating key messages clearly, and presenting research in an accessible and impactful way. Participants will also have access to a seminar room.
Accommodation and catering
The Estonian Doctoral School will provide accommodation in single rooms equipped with a desk, as well as catering.
Transport
Bus transportation is arranged for all participants. The bus will depart from Tartu for Kubija on November 23 at 9:45 and from Kubija for Tartu on November 27 at 15:00. Travel by private car will not be reimbursed.
