Project Writing Training for Doctoral Researchers

The training will take place on November 26 and December 10, 2025 in Tartu at the University Library Conference Center, in the Kodavere seminar room. Adress: W. Struve tn 1, 50091 Tartu.

The aim of the training is to provide knowledge for developing project ideas and preparing funding applications. In addition, the training will offer basic skills in project management and an overview of different funding schemes and opportunities.

Between the two training days, participants will be given a homework assignment to write an abstract based on their own project idea. On the second day, we will continue working with and analysing these abstracts, and those who wish will also have the opportunity to present theirs.

The training will be conducted by Eveli Kuuse (MA) Project Manager at Viljandi Culture Academy / Innovation Scout at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Tartu.

Registration will open on October 20, 2025 HERE. The registration ends on November 2, 2025.

Registration will be on a “first-come, first-served basis”, but when selecting participants, we will consider the following:

  • Doctoral researchers who can attend the training on both days;
  • Priority is given to 3rd- and 4th-year doctoral researchers;
  • Representation from different fields and universities;
