The workshop consists of two sessions held over consecutive days in March 2026:

This training will be held in English.
This two-day workshop will show you how to use social media to extend your own impact, network with your peers, and get access to opportunities in both academia and industry.
Participants will learn how to exploit platforms like LinkedIn (as well as its alternatives) as professional tools and to avoid unnecessary distractions.

Competences
➤ Facilitator Mike Young is the former editor of the University Post at the University of Copenhagen and has spent the past decade helping scientists unlock the power of social media. Since 2016, he has led lively, hands-on workshops across Europe and—via webinar—even reached audiences in Asia, Australia and the US. His co-authored book, Social Media for Research Impact will be published by Routledge in February 2026.
