Summer School “Icy Bodies and Life”

The event will be held in English. Doctoral researchers from all faculties are welcome to attend.
The summer school focuses on icy bodies in the Solar Systemincluding their formation, evolution, and role as potential habitats for life, bridging planetary science, astrochemistry, astrobiology, and space technology.
Format: Lectures and practical workshops, including asteroid observations with a local telescope.
Participants gain an interdisciplinary perspective on icy bodies, learn to assess habitability of icy worlds, analyse chemical processes, and understand the role of space missions.

Applications must include: (a) short CV (max 2 pages), (b) motivation letter (Estonian university students only), (c) publication list (if applicable). Selection decisions are made after the application deadline.
For students from Estonian universities, accommodation and meals will be free. Travel is not subsidized.
