The Humanities and Arts branch of the Doctoral School ühendab kõiki humanitaar- ja looverialade doktorante ja edasijõudnud magistrante neljast Eesti ülikoolist – Tallinna Ülikoolist, Tartu Ülikoolist, Eesti Kunstiakadeemiast ja Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemiast.
The primary goal of the doctoral school is to support doctoral students in their specialised academic training, the development of general competencies, and their work on doctoral dissertations. Additionally, the school aims to foster interdisciplinary communication, enhance collaboration between universities, and improve the quality of academic supervision. To achieve these aims, the doctoral school organises a variety of academic events, including winter schools, writing retreats, seminars, workshops, conferences, and training sessions. It also facilitates the involvement of international experts in Estonia and contributes to the internationalisation of doctoral studies.
