Reimagining biotech and food science

The event is open to doctoral researchers and supervisors and primarily aimed at the fields of food technology and biotechnology.

Reimagining Biotech and Food Science is a two-day interactive doctoral seminar focused on developing imagination, creative thinking, and innovative mindsets in future of food.

Participants from different universities across Estonia will come together, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and contributing to the development of future directions in Estonian biotech and food science. As a result, participants will strengthen their ability to think beyond conventional academic frameworks, generate innovative research ideas, and connect their work to broader societal impact.

The workshop is delivered by international facilitator Yoad Mick (IMAGYM) and combines hands-on exercises, collaborative work, and guided reflection.

Register SIIN. The registration is open until April 20, 2026.

The maximum number of participants is 20. The course is primarily intended for participants from the fields of food technology and biotechnology, but it is also open to other interested participants.
