Research ethics training for PhD researchers in Arts and Humanities

The event will be held in English. Doctoral researchers from the faculty of Humanities and Arts are welcome to attend.

The Estonian Doctoral School for Humanities and Arts invites you to join our research ethics training session on September 9 in Tartu!

Participating in this session is important because ethical questions are part of every researcher’s daily life. How to ask your interviewees or experiment participants for their truly informed consent? How to solve disagreements with your supervisor or co-author? How to be a responsible and trustworthy researcher during fieldwork? What is “good science practice”? Have you read all the regulations related to research ethics?

Participating in this session is interesting because you will be able to solve practical tasks that are based on real-life events. Participants will learn to identify potential ethical issues in their research and gain skills to avoid unintentional errors in conduct.

The training session will be led by specialists Kadri Simm and Anu Tammeleht.
